Alexavier Allen & Olivia Carvajal – Fredericksburg Chapter

Alexavier and Olivia have been dedicated members of the Fredericksburg Chapter since January 2025. They have attended several statewide actions and tabled at multiple community events to engage with the public about how Virginia Organizing is addressing community issues and concerns. They also participated in meetings with local elected officials across three localities. As a result, the chapter was able to present Know Your Rights workshops in local schools.
In response to the proposed ICE detention center in Stafford County, Alexavier and Olivia spoke in protest at the Board of Supervisors meeting, coordinated with local organizations to conduct a bridge banner drop, and met with the chairman of the Board of Supervisors to discuss preventing the plans from proceeding. Most recently, they also facilitated a Know Your Rights and Community Organizing workshop to encourage the local community to band together in support and defense of the most vulnerable community members.
They are a great example of building power together, and we thank them both for building power with us!
