What: Virginia Organizing to Co-Host Affordable Energy Forum in Christiansburg

Christiansburg, VA – On Thursday, November 20, the New River Valley of Virginia Organizing will co-host “Keeping the Lights On: Affordable Energy for our Communities,” alongside Appalachian Voices. The forum will focus on educating the public about affordable and clean energy, as well as how to make their homes more efficient and lower electric bills.

The event will also feature organizations offering energy efficiency upgrades, low-income weatherization assistance programs, solar energy installers, and nonprofit organizations that will discuss tax credits and other programs. The event is free and light refreshments will be provided.
